Meet Theresa Ometie.
I am a Nurse Practitioner with more than 20 years of healthcare experience and special interests in reproductive health, fertility optimization, and obesity medicine. I created Asali Health to provide focused, accessible clinical support for patients whose reproductive or hormonal concerns need medical assessment.

My perspective
Reproductive health care works best when patients and providers can access timely investigation and clear next steps.
My clinical background is in primary health care, with extensive experience in virtual assessment, patient education, and evidence-informed medical management. My special interests include reproductive health, fertility optimization, and obesity medicine.
Asali Health was formed to provide virtual consultative services for reproductive and hormonal concerns that may affect fertility, menstrual function, and male reproductive health. We support clinician-referred patients in Ontario and British Columbia through focused assessment, evidence-based investigations, and coordinated specialist pathways.
Our current service accepts referrals from regulated healthcare professionals. I independently assess the patient, arrange clinically indicated laboratory testing or imaging, review the findings, and provide a consultation letter to both the patient and referring clinician. The patient then returns to that clinician for ongoing care. Patient self-referral is not available at this stage.
Respect for scope
The referring provider's therapeutic relationship and ongoing plan remain intact. Our current consultative role is defined and time-limited.
Useful communication
Both patient and referring provider receive a concise record of findings, actions, and recommended next steps.

Care at the beginning.
Asali speaks to origin, essence, and source. It reflects the importance of understanding reproductive health early enough to create a strong clinical foundation for what comes next.
